Adventure

What is adventure? this question has kept out class in debate for several weeks now. After all these discussions, arguments, fights, make-ups, and more discussion i think we have all discovered that adventure is what you want it to be. Just like every person is different everyone is going to have a different idea of adventure. To me adventure needs to have a risk involved. Adventure needs to include both a mental and physical aspect in the activity and adventure.

For example in the picture here from my recent adventure to Acadia i am bouldering a fairly technical problem. There is a chance of injury if i fall, also I'm having to use lots of physical strength to pull myself up, as well as go through the mental thinking of figuring out what exactly i need to do to make it up to the top.

Adventure can take many different forms. I consider many things an adventure. Anything from meeting new people to summiting a mountain. In the following weeks i hope you will enjoy my teams and I's quest to plan and execute a great adventure.

So in the closing enjoy some more pictures form past adventures i have had.

Peace

Joe
